During the last three weeks we’ve been doing a lot of motion graphic stuff at my school. When we started I had barely opened After Effects before so it’s been weeks of hard work and quite a few all nighters. Here’s a selection of the videos I’ve made.
One of the first assignments was to pick a word, do a logo, and then animate it. Unfortunately we were required to use a glow effect, which I really dislike.
After that we did an animated music video. Each student made a 10 second part and later all parts were put together. Here’s my 10 second part.
This third project was a stop motion assignment. This one was made in collaboration with Anja Bell. I really like how this turned out.
In this final project we were put in groups of three and asked to do a presentation of an artist without showing the artist and without providing any biographical information. My group was told to do a presentation of Kyle Cooper, who did the opening sequence for Se7en. This was filmed and edited over two days and obviously there’s quite a few things that could be tweaked if we’d had more time.
